Affordable Places to Stay in Tagaytay

This post is for Tagaytay wedding guests who are planning to stay the night before or after the wedding.

Here are some affordable and accessible places you may want to consider.

I’ve listed the following places for their close proximity to Taalena Restaurant where our wedding will be. All places are no more than 15 minutes by car based on Google maps.

1. View Park Hotel

This is just across Picnic Grove. This is also where we’ll have our wedding preparation. (If you’re our guest, maybe we’ll see each other there.) Standard Room is 2000 PHP including breakfast for 2. They also have a family room worth 750 PHP per person with breakfast. However, they require at least 10 people in the room. This hotel has a pool and massage services.

2. 5R Rooms

This is beside Ina ng Laging Saklolo Church along the road going to Picnic Grove. I’ve personally stayed at this place a few years ago. Standard room for 2 is 1200- 1500 PHP, no breakfast. They also have Family rooms ranging from 1800-6000 PHP depending on the number of people. The maximum capacity is 12 people. It has a pool, too.

3. Keni Po Rooms

This is a few walks away from 5R Rooms. Single and Twin Rooms is the same with 5R, 1200-1500 PHP. Family room good for 4 is 2000 PHP and a villa good for 6 people is 3500 PHP. Breakfast is not included. It has a pool, too.

3. Lazea Tagaytay Inn

This is a mid-range inn along Tolentino Road near Tagaytay City Market. Couple Room is about 2700+ PHP, Superior Rooms range from 3200-3500 good for 3 people. Family rooms range from 4000-5500 PHP. Maximum capacity of family room is 8 adults. Breakfast and unlimited coffee are included in the rooms. There’s no pool and it’s not close to Picnic Grove.

4. Cool Breeze Tagaytay

This is on one of the smaller roads branching from Tagaytay-Nasugbu Road. It’s past Taalena Restaurant. The road leading to Cool Breeze Hotel is around Leslie’s Restaurant, Figaro’s and Magallenes Square Hotel. Rooms range from 2200 PHP to 3800 PHP. No pool and no massage.

5.  Fernandina Lake View Villa

This is like a big house with several rooms. Rooms range from 1500 PHP to 2400 PHP. They also have a family room good for 7 people worth 4500 PHP. There are some reviews that said the road leading to this place is a little steep. This is just behind Tagaytay Econo Inn.

6. Golden Rooms Tagaytay

This hostel offers basic accommodation. Fan rooms are worth 900+ PHP, good for 2. Standard room is about 1200 PHP and family room good for 6 is about 3700 PHP. This is along Tagaytay-Calamba Road and can easily be seen from the highway.

7. Aroma Apartelle

This is a simple lodging with basic but clean accommodations. It’s along Tagaytay-Calamba Road before Olivarez College. You can see it along the road. Single rooms range from 1800 PHP- 2600 PHP. Dorm type rooms range 3800-4500 PHP with up to 12 people in one room. They also have VIP and Family rooms with rates starting from 3000 PHP. It has a pool and billiards.

From my experience, the fastest way to make reservations is through Agoda or Hotels Combined. Note also that these hotels are not luxurious places but they are clean and comfortable. I’m recommending them for wedding guests who just want a place to stay before or after the event. There are also other affordable places in Tagaytay but they’re a bit far from Taalena so I did not include them.

I’ll make another post for those who want a more luxurious accommodation.

PS: If you’re a guest to our wedding and need some help in making reservations, feel free to send us a message.

    • Hello! I got the Junior Suite for myself- the bride. Hindi na kase available yung Business Suite. If you’re going to have your preps there, the Business Suite is better because it has more space.
